"We hope your Candle for Tibet campaign will inspire the Chinese authorities to appreciate the value of freedom of all mankind and the importance of the Tibetan Buddhist culture that is benefiting millions of people and has the potential to serve humanity as a whole, including the Chinese people," - Tsering Tashi representative of HH the Dalai Lama, Tel Aviv 29/Jul/2008
Come along and join us in this global movement. August 7th 2008 is the day before the opening ceremony of The Olympic Games in Beijing. On this day we aim to create the world's greatest LIGHT PROTEST, when at least 100 million people from all over the world will light a candle and say YES to freedom in Tibet!
Bring along a candle and warm blanket if you feel the cold. This is a free event which is open to all.
